WW1 Remembrance and Display

Posted on 29th October 2018

A short service to mark the end of WW1 will be held at the church at 10.45 on Sunday 11th November. All are welcome.

We have a display in the church with details of the soldiers of Great Witley who lost their lives in the First World War. There is also information on the Australian Voluntary Hospital set up in France by Lady Rachel Dudley. Many thanks to Ruth Butler for researching and collating the information for this.

We also have a place where you can leave your dedication to those affected by war (not just WW1) and attach it to a poppy. All donations for the poppies will go to the British Legion.
